10 Cruel Facts About Working In An Office Cubicle
This post is dedicated to all office workers out there.
If you work in an office then I am pretty sure there were mornings when you dragged yourself out of bed and then tell yourself you’re going to do this for the rest of your life. Now, if you still aren’t discouraged enough then let me share with you 10 cruel facts about working in an office cubicle.
1) Being told to “Think outside the box” when you are in the darn cubicle all day.
2) Not being able to check e-mail attachments without first checking who is behind you.
3) Fabric cubicle walls do not offer much protection from any kind of gun fire.
4) 23 power cords, 1 power outlet.
5) Prison cells are not only bigger, they have beds.
6) When tours come through, you get peanuts thrown at you.
7) Can’t slam the door when you quit and walk out.
If you talk to yourself, it causes all the surrounding cubicle inhabitants to pop their heads over and say “What? I didn’t hear you.”
9) If our boss calls you and asks you to go into his office for a minute, the walk there is like a funeral march. People hand you tissues as you pass and refuse to make eye contact.
10) You always have the feeling that someone is watching you, but by the time you turn around, they’re gone!
Now my friends, how have these cold hard facts hit you? It’s about time you consider laying your office job aside and consider the alternative of making money online. Subquently, I will write reasons to making money online and the numerous way which you can work on.

Funny! I'm in a cube myself. They let someone go on bad terms, and I contemplated the fact that my only chance of survival would be to run out the back door.

I worked in a Call Center for 4 grueling years…..bad memories. It is so true about thinking someone is always behind you. My last day felt like I won a lottery. The only good thing that happened from working in that cubicle was meeting my wife….so it wasn't all bad

Thanks for the laugh! I've been lucky enough to miss out on cubicles entirely (though I did have an office in the basement once), but can relate to a few of those top 10 anyhow.

LOL! 7) Can’t slam the door when you quit and walk out.
I'm not a door slammer and I can't anyway, since the offices I worked in have glass pump-action swing doors that can't be slammed.

Oh boy … !! You made it more horrible. I am also in service before this but I was dominant and always worked according to my will. Boss knew that I am his key player so he never came in my path …
So its depend what kind of person you are …
