PDF is the way to go. Most marketers use pdf anyway. I once tried "ebook pro", an EXE. It uses html to create instead of the usual Word doc, which is so cumbersome so use, and the files size became so big. What's more, the application require the reader to download the application. PDF also requires download, but most people already have Adobe Reader so it's a no-brainer to use PDF.
